We live on a forty acre property with our dogs and livestock but also plenty of Tasmanian fauna to make life interesting. There are bright blue fairy wrens, kookaburras , the occasional flame robin, assorted parrots, birds of prey and of course loads of those very noisy native hens. We even have a resident echidna, as well as wombats, possums, wallabies and elusive quolls. We’ve lived at Tunks Creek Farm since April 2008. We look forward to the challenges ahead channelling the potential of the property as well as our dream of developing a trufflerie.
